Latest photographs taken of apt 3 Lounge last week.

 

This apartment was decorated to a high standard last year.

Offers guests two leather sofa's, 42" TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, a beautiful glass dining table which seats four guests. New lined curtains have been fitted on the lounge and bedroom windows for this season. The apartment has full central heating.

Apartment 4 was tastefully decorated last year and new carpets were fitted throughout.

The lounge offers guests 32" flat screen TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi and two leather recliners.

The photo above was taken in the evening and the photo below was taken in the daytime.

 

 

 

This apartment offers guests a new double bed, 32" flat screen TV, chest of drawers and warbrobe.

 

 

The bathroom is a very good size and offers guests a bath, sink and toilet.

Apartment 5 refurbished 2013

Lounge is a good size and offers two leather sofa's, 40" flat screen TV, DVD player & Hi-Fi.

Apartment 5 has full central heating.

 

The bedroom furniture is brand new for this season and was fitted by Hammonds bedroom furniture.

The bed is king size and can be split into two singles on request. There is a flat screen 22" television for those morning when you fancy breakfast in bed. The bed linen is provided.

 

 

The dining room table in apartment 5 is very modern and sits four guests.

 

The bathroom in this apartment offers guests a separate modern shower, bath, sink and toilet.

Towels and bath mats are provided.

Teddy Bears Outing 2013

The West Lancashire Light Railway will be holding its annual
Teddy Bears’ Outing on Sunday May 5th from 11.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

BARFORD HOUSE WOULD LIKE TO SAY A GREAT BIG THANKYOU TO ALL THOSE BUSINESS'S WHO HAVE DONATED PLANTS AND COMPOST TO LORD STREET



Last year I took it upon myself to plant up all the stone urns along Lord Street, flowers were donated by Sootys Plants, not only did I plant up over eighty stone urns but I watered, fed and dead headed them throught the Summer. As a thankyou Southport Flower Show gave me some four day passes for the show I attend every year. From this I offered my services as a volunteer gardener on Lord Street and now have another three volunteers who help me. Below is a photograph taken with staff at Sootys Plants, without their generosity I would never of been able to accomplish what I have to date. This year we have been given up to last week - one thousand Pansies which we have now been planted out in the stone urns the whole length of Lord Street. We also tend three gardens which are full of colour this Spring. Below is the latest article in our local newspaper.

VOLUNTEER gardeners who help keep Lord Street blooming have recieved a much-needed floral boost from businesses across the resort.

Last week Sooty’s Plants donated more than 700 plants to the Lord Street campaign, which sees volunteers plant flowers throughout the boulevard.

Asda, Dobbies and B&Q also donated bags of compost while Homebase donated nine trays of plants.

Pauline Morris, one of the volunteers, is delighted at the number of donations.

She said: “Lots of businesses have got behind me this year.

”Residents and visitors care about our town as one resident showed last Tuesday when she popped along Lord Street with 18 primulas she had bought for the gardens, which we gladly planted for her.

“She said she really appreciates what we do as volunteers.

”As a small business owner I am urging other small businesses in the town to put out a hanging basket this summer or a planter.

“Shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, hotels and guest houses can all make a difference and brighten our town up.”
