Southport Food & Drink Festival Returns This Weekend

The popular event is back

Victoria Park from May 29 to May 31 2015

Open from 10 am to 6 pm every day, admission is free, visitors can choose dishes and delicacies from all over the world. Street food stalls will be selling food and drink including ostrich burgers, curry, pizza, burritos and buffalo wings. A variety of food will be celebrated throughout the festival, fresh and ready for visitors to take away and enjoy at home. kid’s zone will provide plenty of entertainment from face painting and various crafts to circus workshops and food themed story telling. Cunard’s Three Queens Come Together For A Once In A Lifetime Event

On the 25th May all three Queens reunited for the first time in history.

Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and the Queen Mary 2 sailed down the Mersey and were greeted by over a million visitors who lined the beaches to grab a once in a lifetime glimpse of these prestigious cruise ships sailing into their spiritual home. Every vantage point had crowds cheering it really was a fantastic weekend for Merseyside. The three Queens did not disappoint as they sailed in formation and performed what was described as baby ballet in front of the three Graces. Liverpool is a special city and never disappoints when putting on major events. Well done to all involved it was an event to remember
